Cowboy Cookies Recipe

September 14, 2017

These Cowboy Cookies are a hit with the cowboys here at Chardy Central. And the Cowgirls!!!

So easy. I doubled the already large mixture and managed to get over 100 cookies.  Only take about 9 minutes to bake!  They are kind of an ANZAC biscuit with choc chips in them.

Ingredients

Units Scale

2 cups plain flour

1 teaspoon bi-carb soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter (melted)

1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups rolled oats

1 pack of choc chips

Instructions

Mix together, yep that’s right, just throw it all in and mix it up. Roll into balls and place on baking trays, I don’t even bother pressing down with a fork. Bake at 180 degrees C for about 8-10 minutes.

Silly question…maybe – is it melted butter?

Oh you won’t be sorry Amanda, they are so yummy. A combo of ANZAC and Choc Chip Cookies if you will.
