We have been out and about. On the weekend we all packed up and headed to Brunette Downs Campdraft for the weekend. Horses, trucks, swags, beer, wine and a good time. I just go for the social outing, the actual campdrafting bores the bejesus out of me. The rodeo on Friday night was fun though.
I just wanted to check in and say “HI” I am still alive, but I have been out of internet/phone range for a good few days.
We head off again for Tennant Creek Campdraft tomorrow, so it has been a quick: home, unpack, wash, re-pack. Mamoth effort but thanks to the help of my Govie (who is thankfully on school holidays and can help me) we have managed to get things sorted and even a couple of dinners cooked to take for the crew to eat at the draft. A good old sausage curry and the biggest batch of creamy chicken pasta I have ever seen.
I didn’t take a whole lot of photos on the weekend sorry, but here are a few I did manage.
Hope you have all been well. I will be able to stay in touch this weekend as we will have phone service, so I shall post some photos on Instagram and Facebook.
Love it!! Looks like a fun time – I bet the kids have an absolute ball! Good action shot of Mr Chardy!

Hi Mrs T, the kids just LOVE it. They get to catch up with their friends, sleep in their swags and eat lots of ice cream and drink lots of soft drink!
Rodeo night is always my favourite too. Am still laughing that one young fellow asked me if I ‘drafted’…..I suppose I did draft some cheese and biscuits out of their packets – does that count?
Great photos Miss Chardy! Cheers, Poppy Chardy
Thanks Poppy xxx
