Cooking with Chards: Weekly Meal Plan

October 26, 2020

It really does feel like Groundhog Day… here we are, nearly at the end of October… I must say I feel like I am getting a little stale when it comes to cooking… here is another menu, same old same old. But seriously, how is it the end of October already? Less than 9 weeks until Christmas… we may as well be done with it and call it 2021 already.

I am not feeling the menu love this morning, but here it is, the same old stuff on the menu once again. God they must be sick of these meals!

Our lovely neighbour – Sarah – has organised a “Paint & Sip” workshop with Cloncurry artist – Ruth Chaplain – down at the Barkly Homestead this weekend, a bit of a twist on Barkly Women’s Day… so I will be heading in for that, can’t wait. Just a small group of 20 ladies so it will be such fun. Chatting, painting and catching up over a cheeky glass of wine.

Have you reached that point in the year where everything is annoying you and you are feeling a little over menu planning and cooking? I feel like I have lost my mojo. But I must say that garlic bread I made the other night brought my passion back a little. Geez it was good. You can find the recipe HERE.

Anyway my friends, I had best get to it. have a fabulous day, over and out.

Any storms yet ? I hope they stay away this weekend so you can have a trouble-free run to and from The Barkly Homestead. Paint and Sip Sounds like fun 💕
