Cooking with Chards – Weekly Meal Plan

Yep, it is that time again. We are over half way through the year. Yep June is nearly over. Which reminds me, I really should get last years tax return sorted, ha ha ha. (Oh can I just say, if my son – Tom – was standing over my shoulder right now he would be saying “oh my god Mum, why are you typing ha ha ha and why are you putting a space between them”… just a little something to make me feel old… to which I reply “I have been typing “ha ha ha” since before you were born thank you very much so leave me alone”).

Ok food… well I am excited to say that the crew are in this week – well they are in today and I am pretty happy about that as they were out for most of last week. So this morning Miss Chardy’s Cafe is going to be in full swing. On the menu for smoko will be BLT’s, BLAT’s, hot fresh banana bread with lashings of butter and Lucy’s apple and cinnamon scrolls (hot fresh and straight out of the oven of course!)

Well, I guess I had best hot foot it over to the kitchen and get my Cafe going. How was your weekend? What did you get up to? I finished When Calls the Heart on Netflix – I am so sad. I absolutely loved every single minute of it. There are 6 seasons. It is very wholesome and perfect but gosh I loved it – it is something you could watch with the kids.

Ok – let’s do this!
