Why hello there… and hello to another Monday. Here we go again my friends and here is another Chardy Meal Plan – they all seem the same to me. Is that how it feels at your place? I find that doing a meal plan really helps me with utilising all the beef, and ensuring we have enough. It also tells us when we need to get another killer. It also saves me thinking about what I am going to cook and lets me know if I need to thaw something out the night before. I don’t need to think about anything, it is all sorted. So here it is for this week…
Yep, we have all of the usual suspects on there – corned beef, roast, spag bol, curry and good old crumbed steak. Mixing it up with a bit of sweet’n’sour beef.
I will do my corned beef in the slow cooker – DD style. All I do is whack it in there, pop some dijon mustard and honey on top and press start. I am not kidding, I don’t add water or anything else. I will put it on around 10am and cook all day on low. It is so yummy.

They are mustering away from the station (when I say away from the station I mean they will be a long way from the kitchen – like about 70km – so will be taking a packed lunch and smoko each day. This means I will need to fill up the cake, slice and biscuit containers. I know they love these recipes and they will travel well. If you are onto a good thing I say stick to it. There is never any of these cakes or slices left in the container so that tells me they love them.
Ok, well I guess I had best get baking. Those containers won’t fill themselves now will they! Have a great day lovely people where ever you are in the world.
Really!! NO water in that slow cooker with corned beef? I’ve try that!
Yep, really!!!! It is fantastic!!
